VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

New Directions provides travel opportunities every year for over 700 individuals with special needs with the assistance of our dedicated and talented team of volunteers. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, teens to retirees, and are as committed as we are to our mission.

Some of our areas of need include

Volunteer Tour Guides -
We depend on tour guides to make these travel experiences possible. Our tour guides are special educational instructors, recreation therapists, residential counselors, vocational and independent living skills counselors, and other professional staff who have been trained to work with people with developmental disabilities. Holiday Happiness Volunteer
During the holidays, volunteers are needed to create stockings and buy wish list gifts for our travelers.

General Office Volunteer
Assisting with large mailings and general duties such as filing, copying, data entry.
