Welcome to the city by the bay, a beautiful place for a New Directions Getaway. Upon arrival, we can take some time to relax in our deluxe hotel, before heading out for a magnificent dinner in one of San Francisco's many fine restaurants. We're sure to have an action packed adventure in San Francisco: there's so much to do! We'll take a cable car tour to Fisherman's Wharf, which has nearly a mile of souvenir shops and boutiques lining both sides of the wharf. Enchanting street performers are waiting to entertain us with song and dance, surely to bring smiles to our faces! Are you a chocolate lover? Ghiradelli Square is famous for some of the best tasting chocolate around! While exploring this beautiful city, we'll experience the diversity of foreign cultures In Chinatown and ''Little Italy''. The largest Chinese community outside of China resides in the neighborhood of Chinatown. We can take a trip down Grant Avenue, the central thoroughfare, lined with authentic Chinese markets, shops and restaurants. We can watch fortune cookies being shaped at the Golden Gate Cookie Company or sample noodles at the Chinatown Cafe. In North Beach or ''Little Italy we can sip the best tasting cappuccino this side of Rome! We might venture to the top of Telegraph Hill, crowned by Coit Tower, famous for its bird's eye view of the city. Or perhaps a stroll through beautiful Golden Gate Park, with its fantastic view of the famous Golden Gate Bridge, will catch our fancy. There'll be plenty of photo opportunities here! Whatever we do, we'll make new friends and have a great stay in the city by the bay!
