We will fly to Portland and begin our fantastic stay in this beautiful city. Portland is known as "The City of Roses” with many beautiful rose gardens—most prominently the International Rose Test Garden.

Portland offers a combination of big city excitement and small town charm located amidst lush forests and sparkling waterways rarely found in an urban setting.

There will be so much we can choose to do in this wonderful city. We can stroll along the Tom McCall Waterfront Park as we visit the shops and outdoor cafes. We can visit the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry to see the laser art planetarium, the Omnimax Theater and many interactive exhibits.

We’ll also be taking a sight-seeing Dinner Cruise on the Willamette River aboard the “Portland Spirit”. Fresh Northwest cuisine, live entertainment and grand scenery - all the ingredients for a memorable evening.

And of course, shopping, eating, laughing, dancing, photo taking and other surprises all await us on this great New Directions trip to Portland Oregon.
